Natasha Masharova (b. 1984) is a Ukraine (Kyiv) born and US (Los Angeles) based visual artist, photographer and documentary filmmaker. She was a co-founder and visual editor of a several art and culture magazines (looo.ch), as well as a freelance photographer for various international medias. In 2009, due to the persecutions caused by her and her partner's political activism against censorship and pro LGBTQ+ rights in Ukraine, Natasha had to flee her native country and started traveling the world.

In her work Natasha captures the borderline between real and surreal, and explores underrepresented communities and phenomenons. Industrial scenes and constructions are one of her passions, as she has been drawn to that kind of landscape since her childhood in Soviet Ukraine, learning to find beauty in the most unexpected places. She has a unique ability to make the dystopian and gloomy sites look attractive and dreamlike, working with the rapidly changing natural light.

Masharova prints her works on metal (aluminum) plates in order to adequately materialize her digital photography into the physical world.
